Gifts from the Garden

Lilies multiply, exceptionally well in good soil and light. In late summer we dig the groups that are becoming crowded, and sell the surplus bulbs at the famous Apple Festival held in St. George the third weekend of September. Lilies sold during the Festival provide for much of the funding of the next year's plantings. Plan to visit this event, which is ranked among the top fifty attractions in the province.
